As we announced recently, Coast Insurance is joining the Vienneau insurance family! Since the announcement, there have been a few recurring questions. Here are the answers to the most common! If you don’t see your question answered here, please contact us and we’ll be more than happy to help!
1. Will the Moncton office be closing?
Absolutely not! The Moncton office and our staff are staying right where they are! The only change will be the name on the office to “Vienneau” in the coming weeks.
2. Will my insurance policy change?
No, everything stays in place as it is, and your policy will renew with your current insurer unless you ask us to look at changing it for you (or unless we see your price has increased by a lot as part of our renewal review process).
3. Will my payments change?
Payments will not change as a result of the deal between Coast and Vienneau. As usual, policy premiums may change on renewal, or if you make a change to your policy prior to renewal.
4. Will I be able to get my insurance documents in French?
Yes. Once our computer systems are fully integrated by May, we will be able to offer French letters and policy documents from most of the insurers that we do business with. Please let us know if this is a preference of yours.
5. What are some of the advantages for me – the client – in all this?
One of the main perks is that Vienneau brings with them access to additional insurance markets and products. This means more product and pricing options, and the ability to insure things we weren’t able to in the past.
Thank you for joining us on this journey! We’re very excited for what’s to come! Remember, if you have ANY questions, please let us know!
